Allen County Coroner’s Office Id’s 3 men shot to death in bar

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Three Fort Wayne men were shot to death early Tuesday morning.

The Allen County Coroner’s Office said 30-year-old Nicholas Lee Powers, Fort Wayne, died from gunshot wound(s) and the manner of death was ruled a homicide. He is the 32nd homicide victim in Allen County this year.

Demario Laquan Burnett, 21, of Fort Wayne died from gunshot wound(s). The manner of death was ruled a homicide. He is the 33rd homicide victim in Allen County this year.

The Allen County Coroner’s Office said Jerry Trivon Coleman, 31, of Fort Wayne died from gunshot wound(s). The manner of death was ruled a homicide. He is the 34th homicide victim in Allen County this year.

All three men were shot to death inside the Sports and Spirits Bar in the 1700 block of East Wayne Street at about 2:20 Tuesday, Sept. 13.

When officers arrived to the bar, they found the three men and pronounced them dead at the scene. A short time later, two more victims arrived at a local hospital in good condition.
