An Elwood man is injured after crashing into a barn…

This morning, around 8:00 a.m. officers got a call about a single car crash on South Strawtown Pike. When they arrived on the scene they found Arthur Hensely of Elwood, sitting in the driver’s seat of his car crashed into a barn. Turns out he was traveling northbound on Strawtown Pike, pulling a flat bed trailer, when he suffered a medical problem.  His truck then drove off the road, landed in a ditch, but kept moving. The truck then hit a tree and came to a stop after crashing into the barn 300 feet from the road. Hensely was then taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
