FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Fire Department was called to a mobile home fire just after 9:00 last night. Crews got to the scene on West Washington Boulevard, near Hatfield Road, and found the mobile home fully engulfed. Eight animals were reported to be inside the home, and at least two were found dead. No injures were reported, and animal care and control was called to the scene to take control of the pets. The fire was under control in 13 minutes, and the cause is still under investigation.
