ARCH Offers Alternative Plan for State Blvd. Project

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A local group is offering a alternative for the city's State Boulevard construction project.

ARCH, the historical preservation group, will unveil a plan tonight. They say their proposal will protect the character and history of the Brookview-Irvington Park Neighborhood.

Executive Director Michael Galbraith says they have a plan they think will cost less than the city's 10.4 million dollar estimate. They'll have a public meeting tonight at the Psi Ote Barn at Northside Park, just off Parnell Avenue, at 7 p.m.
