FORT WAYNE (AP): A high school football player from northeastern Indiana has been released from a hospital more than a week after suffering a head injury in a game.

The Journal Gazette reports Columbia City senior running back and linebacker Sam Dailey was released from Fort Wayne Lutheran Hospital on Tuesday.

Dailey had been hospitalized since being injured Aug. 23 in a game at Warsaw.
