FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A teacher at a religious school in northeast Fort Wayne has won a $10,000 classroom makeover from Crayola.

Michelle Jester, a teacher at Central Christian School, was chosen from thousands of nominees across the country in Crayola’s “Thank a Teacher” contest. She was nominated by former Central Christian student Nicole Winans, who’s now working on a math teaching degree at Purdue Fort Wayne, according to the Journal Gazette.

Jester’s prize also includes professional developments for the school to the tune of $9,000, a year’s supply of Crayola products for the school, and $1,000 in gift cards for Jester, Winans, and the school.
