Attic Fire Contained in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A house fire on Fort Wayne's northeast side was contained quickly by fire crews.

It started around 2:41 p.m. on Friday and was contained by 3:01 p.m.  Crews found heavy smoke coming from the attic of the 1 story home.  One person was inside and escaped with no injuries. 

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
