Investigators have recovered the vehicle used as a ‘get-away’ vehicle in the Wednesday, September 12th bank robbery that occurred at 5317 S. Bend Drive at First Federal Savings Bank. The vehicle was located in the area of 4800 S. Hanna Street and is currently being processed by our Crime Scene Technicians for potential evidence.
Anyone with any more information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers. There is a cash reward possible for information received via Crime Stoppers.
In the meantime, this incident remains under investigation by the Northeast Indiana Bank Robbery Task Force. This task force is composed of investigators with the City of Fort Wayne Police Department, Allen County Sheriff Department, Indiana State Police, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. There is nothing further at this time.
