Boil Water Advisory Lifted in Huntington

HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WOWO): The boil water advisory for  the City of Huntington’s water distribution system has been lifted. It went into effect on Monday after some E. coli matter was found in the water.   


According to Annette Carroll, the Superintendent of City Utilities for the City of Huntington, the advisory was lifted at 1:15 p.m., Wednesday afternoon.


City officials issued a statement saying they understand the inconvenience caused by this boil advisory and they appreciate citizens’ inquiries, patience and understanding.
