FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Community Action of Northeast Indiana has undergone a name-change to clarify their mission for the Hoosier state.
The organization, otherwise known as CANI announced the change yesterday.
They'll now go by Brightpoint, and according to the Journal Gazette, the new name reaffirms their mission to provide poverty-assistance to over 35,000 people in 12 counties.
This is the third name change for Brightpoint who is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Their offices are located on E. Washington Boulevard in Fort Wayne.
