CELINA, Ohio (WOWO): Police Chief David Slusser has been fired. According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, an investigation into David Slusser was started in February of this year because of an allegation that he took prescribed medication from a domestic violence complaint. Celina Mayor Jeffrey Hazel and Safety-Service Director Thomas Hitchcock say that because Slusser waived his right to a misconduct hearing, he therefore admitted to the allegations against him. Slusser will be terminated at 5 P.M. today but can appeal within ten days.
