NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Tuesday afternoon, a Noble County prosecutor filed formal criminal charges against 25-year-old Jay King of Kendallville.

King is charged with a single count of child solicitation, a class C felony. The charge alleges that between the dates of June 1, 2013 to August 8, 2013, King used his Facebook account to solicit a 15-year-old girl to engage in sexual conduct with him.

According to court documents, in September 2013 officers were notified of a potentially inappropriate relationship between King and the 15-year-old.  

A judge found probable cause to exist and issued a warrant for King’s arrest.

King is scheduled to make his first court appearance this afternoon.
