City Clerk Accused of Electioneering Employees

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A bombshell report about the Fort Wayne City Clerk claims she's been electioneering in her own office a mere month before the municipal elections.

Last month, Republican Colin Keeney resigned from his job as Parking Enforcement Supervisor. Now he and several others have released a video to the News-Sentinel that apparently shows Democrat City Clerk Sandy Kennedy threatening her employees' jobs if they don't vote for Deputy Clerk Angie Davis to replace her. She's seen asking employees to help split the cost of a political fundraiser, then saying anyone who brought up questions about the legality of such actions would be “fired before the end of the year.”

Kevin Leininger reports Kennedy's attorney said the videos are edited and “fundamentally mischaracterize” her.
