Consultant Reports on Airport Growth

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  A consultant says airlines have no major issues with Fort Wayne International Airport, but it's likely a bumpy course for growth at FWA.

The report cites pilot shortages, fierce competition from larger metropolitan airports and reduction of some mid-sized jets, according to The Journal Gazette.

New service to Phoenix will help, but major airlines are iffy about assigning larger aircraft and longer flights to northeast Indiana.
