DNR Law Enforcement Division Receives Grant for Technology System

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): The DNR Law Enforcement Division has been awarded a grant for nearly $200,000 to upgrade the technology for their communications system. The money comes from the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant, and it will let them buy a computer aided dispatch module that Major Michael Portteus says will increase their officers’ safety and response time.
