Drowning Victim ID’d by Coroner

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Authorities have released the name of a man pulled from the St. Mary's Thursday.

The coroner's office says 37-year-old Robert Webb of Fort Wayne died from asphyxia due to drowning. It is being ruled as accidental. Investigators believe Webb drowned Wednesday night.

Webb's body was pulled from the river Thursday morning near headwaters park, just north of downtown.
