FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Embassy Theater has recently been recognized as one of the world's best in ticket sales.

Concert industry publication Pollstar ranked the Embassy Theater in Fort Wayne in its top 100 in its 2015 mid-year rankings for ticket sales worldwide. 

The Embassy sold 40,501 concert tickets between January 1st and June 30th, helping it earn the number 79 ranking by Pollstar. The Embassy was the only Indiana venue to be ranked in the top 100. 

Embassy Theater executive director Kelly Updike says that ranking is good, but not good enough. She wants the theater to be in the top 25 consistently.
