BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) _ A Bloomington program that provides equine therapy to people with special needs and veterans returning from war is looking to expand at its new location.
 
The People and Animal Learning Services moved in June and has 35 horse stalls, a riding arena, a therapy room, a classroom and tack rooms available for the program and for people boarding horses.
 
PALS executive director Fern Bonchek tells The Herald-Times the larger space already has allowed her to expand hours and programs, and more additions are expected in the future.

She says PALS expects to have eight programs by the end of 2017, which will increase the number of people the program can serve by 50 percent.
