Fast Food Strike

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO):  Some Indianapolis fast food workers are walking off their jobs today as part of a national movement to hit the 200-billion dollar industry.

Today‘s rallies are inspired by strikes that took place earlier this summer in seven cities. The workers are calling for $15.00 an hour wages and the right to form a union without retaliation or unfair labor practices.

The current minimum wage in Indiana is $7.25.
