Fatal ATV Crash in Washington County

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a fatal ATV accident that happened outside of Salem last night. Just before 9:30 P.M., officers responded to East SR 56 where there was a report of an unresponsive man near an overturned ATV. 20-year-old Steven Raisor of Salem was pronounced dead at the scene. According to a preliminary investigation, Raisor lost control of the ATV and was thrown from it, hitting the road. The man was not wearing a helmet or safety equipment at the time of the accident. The Washington County Coroner will determine the official cause of death.
