STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Eric Vaughan of Angola was killed in a crash early yesterday morning. It happened on CR 400 West and CR 400 South in a single-vehicle-crash around 3:47 A.M. The car was reportedly on fire, and when responders arrived, it was fully engulfed. Vaughan was pronounced dead at the scene by the Steuben County Coroner's Office. He failed to stop at an intersection, and his car became airborne and hit a cement post and a tree. Police do not think alcohol was a factor.
