Fertilizer Company Seeks Approval for Southwestern IN Site

MOUNT VERNON, Ind. (AP): A company backed by a Pakistani group has picked a southwestern Indiana site for a planned $2.1 billion fertilizer plant. Midwest Fertilizer is seeking zoning approval from Posey County officials for a 219-acre site. The project has faced controversy since Governor Mike Pence withdrew the state's incentives offer.
