Final Suspect Connected to Peanuts Bar Shooting, Sentenced

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The third and final suspect involved in a March 30th shooting has been sentenced.

Monday afternoon, an Allen Superior Court judge sentenced 24-year-old Adonis Robinson to 18 years behind bars for his involvement in the shooting and beating of Marvin Davis Jr., at Peanuts Food and Spirits on St. Joe Road.

Last month, Robinson pleaded guilty to aggravated battery and criminal gang activity.

Two other men, Demanuel Tompkins and Christopher Sewell were already charged for their role in the crime. They each received a three year sentence for their involvement.

Davis Jr. fell to the ground after being shot. Once he was on the ground, the three men began beating him. Davis was taken to a nearby hospital and survived the attack.
