STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Fremont fire crews were called to a house fire on Sunset Court Clear Lake around 4:30 p.m., Saturday afternoon. According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, firefighters arrived to find the home fully engulfed in flames and the flames were spreading to nearby homes.

Fire crews safely rescued a woman who was still inside the home.  Firefighters extinguished the house fire, but the residence was deemed a total loss. In addition crews also extinguished flames at a nearby home and a shed.

The cause of this fire is still under investigation.
