First Indiana Buc-ee’s Location In The Works

GREENWOOD, Ind. (WOWO) – Indiana could soon be home to its first Buc-ee’s travel center.

A proposal to rezone an 80-acre site in Greenwood has been submitted, paving the way for a massive development near Interstate 65 and Worthsville Road.

Plans call for a 74,000-square-foot travel center with 120 fueling stations and electric vehicle charging facilities.

The proposal goes before the Greenwood Advisory Plan Commission on June 22 before moving to the city council.

Buc-ee’s currently operates 55 locations nationwide and is known for its oversized stores, food offerings and roadside attractions.
