Flooding Affecting Fort Wayne Parks

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne parks have also been unable to escape the floodwaters. The following parks are affected:

  1. The Foster Park golf course and tennis courts are closed. 
  2. Kreager Park is still accessible, but Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation could close it again this afternoon depending on rainfall. 
  3. Swinney Park East is closed and the frisbee golf at Swinney Park WEst is closed. 
  4. Franke Park is flooded in various areas, but is still accessible. 
  5. One of the baseball diamonds at Lawton Park is flooded. 
If you have classes or events at these parks, you're encouraged to check with the instructor or others in the class to see if they're still in session.
