Florida Man Pleads Guilty in Cargo Theft Scam

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP): A Florida man has pleaded guilty in northern Indiana to charges that he helped two other men steal more than $500,000 worth of cargo in a trucking scam. Twenty-four-year-old Roberto Macaya Gonzalez of Hialeah, Fla., pleaded guilty Tuesday in Allen Superior Court to felony corrupt business influence. Additional counts of theft that he had faced will be dismissed under his plea agreement.
