Former Huntington North Coach Banned from School

HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A former coach at Huntington North High School has been banned from school grounds after resigning at the end of August following an incident that happened at the school.

Details of that incident have not been released.

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, Don Cotton, a track and cross country coach, had been a coach for over 40 years and used to teach in the district, which banned him early last month. Cotton was also an adjunct professor at Huntington University, but recently resigned for personal reasons. The Huntington County Community Schools Corporation superintendent said they conducted an internal investigation.
