FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne gas prices fell almost 17 cents last week, with Sunday's average at $3.43 per gallon.
According to GasBuddy.com, the national average isn't far behind, with last week's average at $3.39/gallon. That price is about 6.7 cents lower than what drivers paid this past August.
“The brief increase in the national average now appears over, as gas prices this past week have resumed their decline,” said GasBuddy.com Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan. “Not a single state saw its gas price average rise in the last week- certainly an impressive feat compared to last week.”
