FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A 40-year-old man was shot to death Monday night.
Jamarkis Javon Carter died from a gunshot wound. The Allen County Coroner’s Office said the manner of death was ruled a homicide.
Police were called to the 4400 block of Warsaw Street at about 4:48 p.m. Monday. When crews arrived, the found a man lying in the driveway with a gunshot wound to the head.
He was hospitalized in crticial condition, but died upon arrival.
Carter is the 36th homicide victim in Allen County this year.
