Fort Wayne man shot to death Monday night

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man was shot to death Monday, Aug. 29. 

The Allen County Coroner’s Office says  Nelson Antonio Lemus-Munoz, 24, died from gunshot wounds to the chest. The manner of death is homicide.

Officers were called to the 2900 block of Stardale Drive at about 11:15 p.m. Monday on reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, the found Lemus-Munoz. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
He is the 26th homicide victim in Allen County this year. The shooting is still under investigation.
