Updated: Two persons have been arrested by the Adams County Sheriff’s Department for their involvement with alleged crimes committed against members of the Amish community in Adams County on September 17th.
Alejandro Lopez, age 18, of Fort Wayne.
David Veliz, age 19, of Fort Wayne.
Both men have been preliminarily detained pending charges of Armed Robbery and Criminal Confinement. Formal charges against both men should be filed tomorrow. In addition, a juvenile has also been detained as a result of the investigation.
Original Story: Sheriff’s Deputies tell WOWO news that because of help from the public and the Berne police department they have been able to find out who those people are and pick them up. We don’t know who they are or how many have been arrested. They told us yesterday that several different attacks happened; however they did not say if anyone was hurt, exactly what happened or how many they were looking for.
