Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation Looking For Volunteers

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Parks and Recreation Department are looking for volunteers to help clean local parks.

After the storm on June 27th, litter, branches, twigs and other trash has scattered throughout most of the 86 parks in Fort Wayne. Excessive wind and flooding damage has made many areas inaccessible, but they city hops to make those areas safe and inviting again.

If your group or organization would like to schedule a park clean-up, please contact the Parks and Recreation office at 260-427-6000.
