FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne police are asking the public for help identifying a robbery suspect.

At about 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, a man walked into the Dollar General at 1915 E. Tillman Road. He walked around the store for a while, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department. 

Police say at some point he went behind the counter, approached a female employee and demanded cash while holding a knife. He ran from the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Before he went into the Dollar General, police say he went to the Family Dollar Store located across the street. While he was there, he stole the hat he was wearing and the knife he had.
