FW Plowing Update: Crews Move to Residential Streets

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): We have an update from the City about plow efforts. Snow plows have moved to residential streets Monday morning. The City is asking for residents not to use street parking so that the plows can thoroughly clear the snow. Street Department crews have worked around the clock to clear main streets and keep them passable. Crews moved into neighborhood streets around 7:00 A.M. Residents may see some trucks other than Street Department trucks in their neighborhoods. City utilities, Traffic Operations, and Parks Department and several contractors have been brought in to help with the snow clearing operations.
