FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The principal of North Side High School is getting a promotion.

On July 1st, Chad Hissong will become the Fort Wayne Community Schools district’s new Student and Family Support Services director, as announced during last night’s school board meeting.

The Journal Gazette reports he’ll be part of the new Family and Community Engagement Center in downtown Fort Wayne, which is set to open toward the end of the current school year. David West will take Hissong’s place as principal of North Side High.

New Tech Academy assistant principal Liz Bryan will also be moved to the center as manager of the district’s personalized educational programs.
