FWCS to Close Nebraska Elementary School

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Community Schools board could end up closing a school soon.

The Board will soon be voting on a recommendation by Superintendent Wendy Robinson to close Nebraska Elementary School at the end of the school year. This according to our Partners in News at 21Alive, who obtained a copy of a letter sent home to parents about the move, saying the district can't efficiently run the school anymore due to dropping enrollment.

There will be a special parent meeting at the school on November 24th.
