FORT WAYNE Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Fire Department is promoting Captain Geneori Hogan today at a swearing-in ceremony.

Hogan is a 17-year veteran of the FWFD. He's being sworn in at 11:30 as District Chief of Information & Technology.

Hogan will be responsible for overseeing the department's IT systems and software programs. According to a press release, he'll as serve as a liaison between the Fire Department and the City's third party system contractor.

This is Hogan's third promotion with the department.
