FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a house fire Sunday night on Monroe Street.

Police say there weren't any smoke alarms inside and no one was home when a neighbor called police before 9 p.m.

The fire started on the first floor and the home suffered heavy smoke damage.
