FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  Due to freezing rain and slick streets the City’s garbage and recycling vender, Republic Services, has stopped collection for the day.

Tuesday routes will be collected on Wednesday and garbage and recycling will run one day behind the rest of the week with Friday collections occurring on Saturday.

Crews were able to get through some of the neighborhoods but will go through all normal Tuesday routes on Wednesday.
