Gary School Hearing

GARY, Ind. (WOWO): Most of those who spoke out at Monday night's public hearing on Dunbar-Pulaski Middle School told Superintendent of Public Instruction Glenda Ritz that the Gary school district can do its own turn-around of the academically-trouble school. The Indiana Department of Education called the hearing because the middle school's been on academic probation for five years in a row.

Ritz says a decision on the school's future isn't expected until after statewide school grade are released in October.
