FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. Now, we have #GivingTuesday.

It's a day dedicated to giving back, created two years ago by New York City's 92nd Street YMCA, in partnership with the United Nations Foundation.

The goal is for charities, families, businesses, and students around the world to join together and give. The movement has more than 13,000 partners across the country, including here in Fort Wayne.

According to the news-sentinel, this will be the first year Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne will be participating. YWCA Northeast Indiana also plans to take part.
