SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) _ A new health care services company has announced plans to open to downtown South Bend and hire as many as 110 new workers.

Advanced Centers for Cancer Care will receive help from the city in the form of $900,000 in new technology equipment. The company's development agreement says it expects to start with 35 employees along with additional jobs within five years.

The South Bend Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/1ZAjdac) the company plans to spend $7 million to equip and improve the space, which it will lease for an initial term of at least five years.

An offshoot of Mishawaka-based Michiana Hematology Oncology, the business provides management and advisory services to other health care providers nationwide.
