FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Around 7 a.m. early Sunday morning, The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a fire on the 1600 block of Emerson Avenue.  When fire crews arrived, they were able to see heavy fire and smoke coming from the house.  Police dispatch told our partners in news at ABC 21, that neighbors indicated the house was unoccupied. There are no further details at this time.
