Residents can access the service by dialing 2-1-1 or by searching online at IN211-dot-org. Trained specialists provide free, confidential assistance and connect callers with nearby resources based on their specific needs.
Indiana 211 also serves as a gateway to mental health and crisis support services. Officials are reminding residents that the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for anyone experiencing emotional distress or a mental health emergency.
The service is available to all Hoosiers and is designed to provide quick, local connections to assistance programs during periods of increased need, including the winter and holiday season.
