JOHNSON COUNTY, IND (WOWO) A Gas City man was convicted yesterday of Child Molesting, a Level 1 Felony, in Johnson County. Thirty-year-old Austin Cohee was found guilty following a bench trial for sexually abusing a juvenile in 2021.

Cohee faces up to 40 years in prison at his sentencing, which is scheduled for November. Authorities say the conviction comes as part of ongoing efforts to hold offenders accountable and protect children in the community.
