IMPD Officer Charged With Operating A Vehicle While Intoxicated

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO) — IMPD Officer Bryan Gibson is accused of showing up to work on December 10th with an odor of alcohol on his breath to IMPD’s Southeast district.

Chief Bailey is now recommending to the IMPD Civilian Police Merit Board that Gibson be fired.

Gibson is being charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OVWI) and operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .08 or higher.

He is due in court January 20.
