Indiana Court Clarifies Rules for Expunging Record

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): A court says local judges can't pick and choose which criminal records can be expunged from an individual's record under a new state law. The Indiana Court of Appeals says the statute is meant to apply to any dismissed charge. A judge had previously said that a man who had charges dropped in a plea agreement couldn't have them expunged.
