INDIANAPOLIS, IND. (WOWO) Officials in Indiana removed instructions for creating AI pornography that briefly appeared on the Department of Health website. Authorities say the content was not added by state employees.

CBS 4 in Indianapolis reported that the instructions were discovered after a surge of unusual bot activity targeting state websites. State officials confirmed that the material was removed promptly and that no personal data or sensitive information was impacted.

“This content was never published by the Department of Health,” a spokesperson said. “We are investigating the activity and working to prevent similar incidents in the future.”

The incident highlights the challenges state websites face in protecting against automated bot attacks and ensuring the integrity of online content.

The Department of Health and other Indiana state agencies continue monitoring web traffic and security to safeguard public-facing sites.
