Indy Senior Homes Evacuated After Power Loss

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Indianapolis firefighters have evacuated about 300 people from a senior living community after a power loss created hot conditions there.

The evacuations occurred at Crestwood Village West on the west side of Indianapolis as temperatures climbed into the lower 90s Wednesday afternoon.

WTHR-TV reported a representative of the complex told it that workers had cut a power line.
